News:

  • This year marked the Foundation's 25th year of supporting artists through grants and was
    celebrated with a show at the Noho Gallery in NY.  The Foundation has also changed it's
    name from the Ruth Chenven Foundation to the Ruth & Harold Chenven Foundation to honor
    not only Ruth but her husband, Harold as well.









  • Brad Brown's works in his current exhibition in NY, can be seen at  www.larissagoldston.
    com.  Also, a series of prints he completed in Maui this summer have also just been
    released:  www.huipress.com.

  • Jane Danko has recently completed an illustrated book:  De Amor e Vida / Of. Love and Life.  
    It is a book made by hand, consisting of an edition of 20 books with two artist proofs and one
    bon a tirer, each signed and numbered, with 21 poems and 21corresponding illustrations,
    which are original prints executed by Ms. Danko in her studio in Cedeira, using the techniques
    of etching, aquatint, drypoint, woodcut, linocut, and carborundum.   The hardcover of each
    book consists of an original painting by Ms. Danko, making each book a distinct work of art.

  • Mary Addison Hackett's work was recently selected by the U.S. Department of State for
    inclusion in the ART in Embassies Program exhibition in Montevideo, Uruguay (2007-2009). It
    is on view at the official residency of Ambassador Frank Baxter.
